Vehicle & Cab Policy

Effective: September 2026Last updated: September 2026LN Tourism Private Limited · CIN U79120UP2026PTC245268

This Vehicle & Cab Policy explains how LN Tourism Private Limited assigns, operates and bills vehicles - sedans, SUVs, Innova/Innova Crysta, Ertiga, Tempo Traveller and similar - used for pickups, transfers, sightseeing and multi-day tours. It applies together with the Terms & Conditions and the Payment & Cancellation Policy.

1. Vehicle category & allocation

Bookings confirm a vehicle category (e.g. Sedan, SUV, Innova Crysta, Ertiga, Tempo Traveller), not a specific registration number, colour, model year or exact make.

  • ·An equivalent or higher category may be substituted if the originally assigned vehicle becomes unavailable due to breakdown, accident, permit or supplier issues.
  • ·Vehicle images shown on the website/quotation are representative of the category and may differ from the actual vehicle provided.
  • ·A specific vehicle, driver or registration number can only be guaranteed where confirmed in writing.

2. Passenger & luggage capacity

Each category has a legal seating and luggage limit.

  • ·The number of travellers and luggage must be disclosed at the time of booking so the correct category can be recommended.
  • ·Overloading beyond the vehicle's legal seating/luggage capacity is not permitted and may be refused by the driver for safety and legal reasons.
  • ·Additional luggage, bulky sports/trekking equipment or extra passengers not disclosed at booking may require an additional/larger vehicle at extra cost, subject to availability.

3. Kilometre & timing limits

Tour packages and per-day cab services are quoted against a specified kilometre and running-hour limit (as stated in the itinerary/quotation).

  • ·Usage beyond the included kilometres or hours is chargeable extra, at the rate stated in the quotation or the driver/operator's applicable per-km/per-hour rate.
  • ·Garage-to-garage billing (i.e. kilometres run from and back to the vehicle's base point) applies unless the quotation states point-to-point billing.
  • ·Waiting charges, toll, parking, state permit, interstate tax and night-halt charges are payable separately unless expressly included in writing.

4. Driver duty hours & safety rules

  • ·Drivers work within permissible duty hours under applicable motor-transport law and take rest breaks as required for safe driving; a request to skip a mandated rest break cannot be honoured.
  • ·Night driving on hill/mountain routes may be restricted or discouraged by local administration for safety reasons; LN Tourism follows applicable local/route restrictions.
  • ·Drivers are expected to be courteous and drive safely; a genuine service issue should be reported immediately via +91 88588-73018 or info@lntourism.com so it can be addressed.

5. Route, weather & road conditions

Hill and pilgrimage routes are subject to landslides, road closures, weather, traffic-police restrictions, convoy timings and government/local-administration orders. LN Tourism and the driver may alter the route, timing or halts for passenger safety, and will attempt a reasonably comparable alternative where practical. Such safety-driven changes do not automatically entitle a refund.

6. Traveller conduct in the vehicle

  • ·Smoking, alcohol consumption and consumption of illegal substances inside the vehicle are not permitted.
  • ·Travellers must not instruct the driver to breach traffic law, overload the vehicle, exceed safe speed, or drive beyond permitted duty hours.
  • ·Damage to the vehicle caused by a traveller (deliberate or due to negligence) is chargeable to the traveller at actual repair cost.
  • ·The driver may decline to continue the trip where continuation creates a genuine safety risk; LN Tourism will assist in arranging an alternative wherever reasonably possible.

7. Vehicle breakdown or unavailability

Where a vehicle breaks down or becomes unavailable during the trip for reasons beyond our reasonable control, LN Tourism will arrange a replacement vehicle of equivalent or higher category as soon as reasonably possible. Reasonable delay caused solely by a breakdown does not automatically entitle a refund for the full day's service, though a proportionate adjustment may be considered depending on the extent of disruption.

8. Belongings left in the vehicle

Travellers are responsible for their own belongings. LN Tourism and the driver are not liable for items left behind in the vehicle, though reasonable efforts will be made to help locate and return them if reported promptly to info@lntourism.com or +91 88588-73018.

9. Cancellation & amendment of vehicle service

Cancellation charges for vehicle/cab bookings follow the slabs in the Payment & Cancellation Policy. A change of vehicle category, dates, route or duration is treated as an amendment (subject to availability and revised pricing), not a cancellation, unless the original booking cannot be amended.

10. Governing terms

This policy operates together with, and does not override, the Terms & Conditions. Nothing here waives any non-waivable statutory consumer right. Governed by the laws of India; Dehradun jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer-protection rights.
